Designed as a party-sized premix that is bursting full of flavours of the holiday season, making it excellent for your holiday party. Save the extra cordial to use in breakfast cocktails, desserts, or to make another batch of the drink.
Bikini Recipe
Serves 10 people
For the Clementine Cordial (makes 750ml)
300ml fresh clementine juice
200ml recently pressed lemon juice
500g caster sugar
Ingredients for the Cocktail (makes 850ml, serving 10)
400ml good quality vodka
100ml classic gin
150ml peach schnapps
200ml citrus syrup (from the recipe above)
A few cranberries, to garnish
Mandarin essential oil, as a final touch
Directions
Making the Cordial: Combine the listed components inside a pan, heat until it reaches a simmer, mixing until the sugar dissolves. Next, take off the burner allowing it to cool down fully. Transfer into a sealable bottle, cap it keeping it chilled, it will last for up to one month.
To make Cocktail Base: Pour the specified liquids into a big jug, leave to sit for one hour, then filter it , ideally through a fine cloth, to ensure it's completely strained.
For serving: Pour 85ml from the cocktail base into a mixing glass containing ice, gently stirring gently for about 60 seconds to chill. Strain into an chilled martini glass or a similar vessel, decorate with some cranberries and complete it by giving it a light spray of mandarin oil above the glass.
